Laura and Chad's journey to Playa Venao started in an unexpected way-through jiu-jitsu. Chad was training in Denver when one of his professors relocated to Panama, and they followed his adventure through social media. In November 2020, ready for a change and craving nature, they took their family on a trip to explore this hidden gem.
What they found was more than just a destination-it was a way of life. Playa Venao's raw beauty, laid-back atmosphere, and deep connection to nature instantly captivated them. Their kids, just four years old at the time, learned to surf, while Laura embraced yoga and the entire family found new adventures-horseback riding, snorkeling,
whale watching, and of course, jiu-jitsu.
Falling in love with the food, the people, and the simple yet fulfilling lifestyle, Laura and Chad knew this wasn't just a one-time trip. They recently purchased land in Playa Venao, drawn not only to its unmatched lifestyle but also to its investment potential. Now, they're creating a unique Panama discovery experience offering family, friends, and like-minded travelers the chance to immerse themselves in this special place just as they did.
