What airport will I arrive at?You’ll fly into Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City. Some regional or private flights may use Marcos A. Gelabert Airport (PAC), but your international arrival is PTY.
Will someone meet me when I arrive?Yes. Our team will greet you at the airport after customs. Group transfers are coordinated within approximately 1–2 hours of your arrival window.
Do I need a passport or visa?A valid passport with at least 6 months before expiration is required. Citizens of the U.S., Canada, the EU, and many other countries do not need a visa for tourist stays under 90–180 days (varies by nationality). If you’re unsure, please check with your local Panamanian consulate.
Is travel insurance required?Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance (medical, trip interruption, and evacuation) is required and strongly recommended.
What are the accommodations like? You will enjoy 4–5 star, hand-selected properties—boutique hotels, city hotels, and/or upscale beach or jungle lodges—chosen for comfort, service, and authentic Panamanian character.
What currency is used? Do I need cash?Panama uses the U.S. Dollar (also called “Balboa” locally). ATMs are common. Credit cards are widely accepted in cities; bring some small bills for tips, markets, and rural areas.
Is there Wi-Fi?Yes. All selected hotels and most restaurants/cafés provide complimentary Wi-Fi.
Do I need vaccinations? No specific vaccinations are required for entry into Panama from most countries. Routine vaccines should be up to date. If you plan to extend your trip to remote jungle areas, consult your doctor about any additional recommendations.
Is this a yoga retreat? No. This is a curated travel experience. Occasional wellness or yoga sessions may be offered as optional add-ons.
Can I bring children? This program is designed for adults. Please ask us if you’d like to arrange a private, family-friendly version.
What should I pack?Lightweight breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and any personal medications. We’ll send a detailed packing list before departure.
Will my phone work? Most major carriers offer international roaming in Panama. eSIMs and local SIM cards are also available at the airport.
