DAY 1(D)

WELCOME
TO BARCELONA

Arrival to Barcelona and check in at 4-star Hotel Cram (or similar) 6 pm – Lobby of the hotel – Meet and greet with the rest of the group. Welcome tapas dinner in one of Barcelona’s best specialized restaurants on Paseo de Gracia.

DAY 2(B,D)

Guided visits to three iconic Gaudi landmarks:
Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera (from outside) and Casa Batllo (inside with Audio/video guide). Stroll around the shopping district of Passeig de Gracia Free time for lunch (suggestions will be provided), followed by free time at local shopping area. Dinner at historic and famous restaurant La Mar Salada (or similar) located in Barcelona’s Promenade.

DAY 3(B,L)

Visit to Dali museum in town of Figueres.
Tour of the Emporda Region with stop in Cadaques, the birthplace of Salvador Dali, for lunch at Compartir, opened in 2012 by pupils of the world-famous Spanish chef, Ferran Adria of the fabled El Bulli. Free time in Cadaques in the afternoon.

In the evening, return to Barcelona.
Free time for dinner (suggestions provided).

DAY 4(B,L)

Tour of the famous Boqueria market to learn more about local food culture and products. Walk through La Rambla and Barrio Gotico (Gothic Quarter).

Visit to Santa Maria del Mar Cathedral. Lunch at Origens (or similar), a local eatery specializing in authentic Catalan dishes. Visit to the El Born neighborhood, the heart of medieval Barcelona, including its gourmet stores and El Born Cultural Centre.

Free time for dinner (restaurant suggestions available).

DAY 5(B,L)

Travel to the countryside surrounding Espluga. Guided wine tasting at Vilosell winery. Lunch. Yransfer to renowned wine district of Conca del Barbera in Catalunia.

DAY 6(B,L)

Transfer to the Cava wine Region to the town of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Visit to one of the best wineries followed by wine tasting at the winery and lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, return to Barcelona and free time.

DAY 7(B,D)

Free time during the day.
Farewell dinner at elegant restaurant

Departure to return to USA.
