Day 3
Tour of the Colosseum, Forum
& Palatine Hill (B)
Buongiorno! Enjoy another morning Cappuccino, warm fresh breakfast and get ready for more amazing sites. You’ll visit the Palatine Hill, the Colosseum and other places of interest. The Palatine Hill, which relative to the seven hills of Rome is the centremost, is one of the most ancient parts of the city and has been called "the first nucleus of the Roman Empire." The Colosseum is an oval amphitheater in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheater ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheater in the world today, despite its age. Enjoy lunch at your local restaurant and enjoy the afternoon siesta if time permits. The night is yours to relax and be ready for tomorrow’s trip to Amalfi Coast.
