About the chefs

Eduardo García

Is a Mexican chef and founder of Mexico City restaurants Máximo Bistrot and Lalo! He is often considered one of Mexico's top chefs. In Decem- ber 2011 opened Máximo Bistrot in the Colonia Roma district of Mexico City, which has since become a magnet for the city's hottest new restaurants. Máximo has since won numerous awards.

Ricardo Muñoz

has dedicated his life to Mexican food. He's one of the country's most well-regarded Mexican chefs, with several restaurants in Mexico City, but he hopes to be remembered for the eleven books he's authored (so far) on topics ranging from chilis to salsas to colors in his country's cooking. His greatest work is perhaps the DiccionarioEnciclopédico de la Gastronomía Mexicana, a text that aims to codify every Mexican cooking ingredient and technique in the vast gastronomic canon of Mexico.

Graciela Montaño

Is a Mexican Chef with sommelier and pairing studies, Graciela is the founder and owner of a México City cooking studio that focuses on teaching traditional Mexican dishes with a strong Mexican culinary history. Montañois a certified sommelier and an expert tequila taster who promotes, through traditional Mexican dishes and street-popular classics, Méxicos ́s culinary history.
