Belize is a nation on the eastern coast of Central America,with Caribbean Sea shorelines to the east and dense jungle to the west. Offshore,the massive Belize Barrier Reef,dotted with hundreds of low-lying islands called cayes, hosts rich marine life. Belize's jungle areas are home to Mayan ruins like Caracol,renowned for its towering pyramid;lagoon-side Lamanai; and Altun Ha,just outside Belize City.

As you arrive in Belize you will be greeted by our team who will be waiting for you at the Internation- al Airport. Then we make our way down south on the Hummingbird Highway and we will have several opportunities to stop and take pictures experiencing what makes Belize so special. Once we arrive in Hopkins, get checked into your beachfront hotel at The Jaguar Reef and enjoy the sunset poolside sipping on a cocktail.

Wake up early if you can, enjoy the amazing and beautiful morning and sip on your delicious belizean coffee. Walk along the white sandy beach, lay on a hammock or sit on the swing under a tree, enjoy all of the relaxing amenities of the resort.

Wake up at your leisure, enjoy the delicious morning coffee and a belizean traditional breakfast. Today could be the perfect day to get on a bike or golf cart and visit the nearby town for some local flavors. Also there is a large store with a large variety of belizean artisanal work, the perfect place to pick up gifts and goodies.

The Mystery of the Mayan Culture is hidden in many areas of Belize which hold many of the ancient cities. The name Xunantunich derives from the Yucatec Maya language and means “Stone Woman.” The center of Xunantunich sits on an artificially leveled limestone ridge that stands almost 183 meters above sea level. From this core area the site radiates outward, encompassing settlements that extend for several square kilometers. The epicenter consists of four major architectural groups. Xunantunich was first explored in the 1800's by Dr. Thomas Gann, a British medical officer. The first recorded photograph of the site was taken in 1904.

After a morning breakfast, you'll head over to San Pedro Ambergris Island for the remainder of your trip. Enjoy the Island beach life, shops, bars and "Take it slow” attitude. Enjoy the sunset at one of the beach cabanas.

After a morning breakfast, walk the island or enjoy the calm waters. In the afternoon gear up for a snorkeling expedition to Shark & Ray Alley at the The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System (MBRS), also popularly known as the Great Mayan Reef is a marine region that stretches over 1,126 kilometers (700 mi) along the coasts of four countries — Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Hondura. Here your boat captain will take you to swim with the sharks and stingrays while feeding them by hand. You will have the chance to swim with sharks, rays, manatees, and some of the most colorful fish species in the world. Snacks of fresh fruits and drinks will be available during the snorkeling activity.

Ambergris Caye is 35 miles east of Belize City and 14 miles north of Caye Caulker. Its main town is San Pedro, located in the southern part of the island.Here you will find a variety of Belizean and international cuisine in addition to other activities. Walking,sightseeing, and a day to hang and to meet some of the friendly locals. Las Terrazas Resort boasts one of the largest stretches of private white sand beach on Ambergris Caye. Additionally, there is a roped off swimming area at the end of the dock for guests who prefer a deeper swimming hole.

Now that you are here, you must visit Caye Caulker Island. Caye Caulker, 11 miles south of Ambergris Caye, is the second largest of the Belize cayes. The island is about 4 miles long, but the town is only about a mile long. Like Ambergris, Caye, Caye Caulker was primarily a fishing community; now a popular destination for scuba divers, snorkelers and anglers. When you are there, visit “The Split” a central gathering point for locals and visitors to congregate and socialize along the sandy beach lining this natural divide. There are various ocean front restaurants with delicious food and local flavor.

Enjoy your last full day in Belize, this is the opportunity to do other activities or simply enjoy the hotel Spa and other amenities. Grab a Golf cart, go to town and do some last minute shopping.

Enjoy your Belizean breakfast and a few more hours at the beach. After checkout we will head to town and grab lunch before departing to Belize city in the afternoon. Your flight departure is at 5:52 pm. The water taxi departure will be at 1:00 pm arriving in Belize city at approximately 2:30 pm. Upon arrival our team will be there for your private airport transport.
